Who We Are
Boulder's Original
Disc Golf Club
The Boulder Disc Golf Club exists to promote disc golf in Boulder. Our main activity is organizing weekly tag matches across Boulder's courses. We are a PDGA Affiliate Club — meaning members get a discount on annual PDGA dues. Ask any board member for the coupon code.
Boulder isn't just home to great disc golf — it's where the PDGA was born in 1976, when Steady Ed sold the first memberships at the Boulder Flying Disc Festival. Organized disc sports here go back to 1975, when Geoff Hungerford founded the Chinook Frisbee Group. Valmont Disc Park — our home course — was designed by Hall of Famer John Bird and opened in 2012.
Current Board Members: Shane Sparkman, Cassion Waller, Dylan Shorter, Taylor Adams & Andy Jacobson.
